My wife and I have two rental investments. We had just put one on the market when the governor's order to halt all but essential construction was issued. Rumors of city drone searches for illegal construction activity and $5000 fines put the damper on a needed re-roof for the sale of our rental to a couple whose mortgage lender required said roof in order to finance the purchase of our house. Denali Roofing's Mark Walsh upon examining the implied parameters of the shutdown decided to roof our house. His crew was at the job site at 8:00 am sharp. A large semi-class boom truck was placing pallets of material across the property and onto the roof by 8:20. A crew of roughly 6 people had the existing roofs of both house and separate garage torn off, re-roofed, all debris cleaned up by 3:00 pm same day. It was obvious that the decision by Mark Walsh to roof our home under the circumstances was only carried out after careful consideration. The job was completed in a scant 6 1/2 hours. Marks crew was polite and well coordinated. Site cleanup was excellent.
